Situation

ZENworks 7 install to NetWare cluster fails with "InvDB components NOT installed" error

ERROR:"InvDB components NOT installed on <servername_SERVER>"

ERROR:"There was an error installing ZENworks Desktop Management on <servername_SERVER>"

ERROR:"An error occured during file copy or configuration. See above for more details and be sure that no ZENworks Desktop Management files are open or locked."

Resolution

The cause of the problem is that the cluster enabled volume is missing the attribute NCS:Volumes. To fix the problem re-create the cluster enabled volume so that the NCS:Volumes attribute appears in the properties of the cluster enabled volume.
