Situation

Administrator receives empty GWCheck log file from POA.
GWCheck Log file only contains header and footer information.
Thousands of log files in \WPCSOUT\CHK

Resolution

This has been fixed in GroupWise 7 Support Pack 1, however it will not be fixed in GW 6 or GW 6.5 due to the size and nature of the change.
As the size of the Post Office exceeds Novell's recommended limits it is unlikely that this will be fixed. Instead apply the sizing limits described in the GroupWise 6 Documentation.

Additional Information

The size of the Post Office vastly exceeds Novell's maximum recommended size of about 3500 users. Whilst the agent based check process is running it creates one log file for every database it checks and, when the entire check is complete, it combines all the individual logs to make one larger log for the administrator. There are too many log files for the GWCheck process to roll-up into on larger log file.
This issue may be fixed in later version of GroupWise.
