Environment

OES Linux
Novell Groupwise 7.0.2hp1a as backend

Situation

When using Admin-defined fields and having eDirectory User Synchronization turned on in the MTA (on Linux), the agent (MTA) will delete the admin-defined fields previously defined in ConsoleOne from the domain database next time it triggers the eDirectory User synchronization process.

Resolution

The fix for this issue is in GroupWise 8.  The fix will not be ported back to the 7.x code base
