Environment

Novell GroupWise 7
Novell Open Enterprise Server (Linux based)
Novell GroupWise Message Transfer Agent

Situation

Multiple MTA's are loaded on a cluster resource. When attempting to unload one of the MTA's using "rcgrpwise stop domain_name", all of the MTA's running on the resource unload.

Resolution

Modify the unload script for the MTA to match the name and case as it appears in the gwha.conf.

The unload script for the MTA being unloaded listed the domain name in all lower case characters, but in the gwha.conf file the domain name was in all caps.

Status

Reported to Engineering

Additional Information

It appears the system will unload all the MTA's due to the fact that it can not find the PID associated with the lower case name passed to it. This has been reported to development.
