Situation

Purpose:
How to restore a Secondary Domain Database without a backup

Symptoms:
Secondary domain database is corrupt or missing.
No backup of the Secondary Domain Database

Resolution

For GroupWise 5.X
Corrective Actions:
In NWAdmin, connect to the primary domain. Highlight the secondary domain in GroupWise View. Go to Tools | GroupWise Utilities | System Maintenance. Select Rebuild Database and select Run. Enter the directory where you would like the domain database to be created or verify that the path is correct. Select OK.
For GroupWise 6.X and GroupWise 7.X
In Consoleone, connect to the primary domain. Highlight the secondary domain in GroupWise System. Go to Tools | GroupWise Utilities | System Maintenance. Select Rebuild Database and select Run. Enter the directory where you would like the domain database to be created or verify that the path is correct. Select OK.
