Changing the default language in OpenOffice

This document identifies the process of changing the default language in the OpenOffice.org Writer application.

1. Click on "Tools".
2. Click on "Options" at the bottom of the menu.
3. Expand the "Language Settings" option.
4. Click on "Languages".
5. Alter the Default Languages for Documents to the appropriate settings (for example, setting the "Western" option to"Finnish").
6. Click the OK button.
