Nicknames
Situation
Nicknames not working
ERROR: "The user nickname could not be found. Select
a user from the address book." while sending to nickname using
WebAccess
ERROR: "Some addresses are undeliverable and have been crossed
out. Would you like to go to the address book to resolve them?"
while sending to nickname using GroupWise Client
Unable to send mails using nickname
Resolution
1. Launch ConsoleOne
2. Click Tools | GroupWise System Operations | Select
Domain
3. Browse to the Domain Directory and click Ok
4. Highlight GroupWise System
5. Click Tools | GroupWise System Operations | Internet
Addressing
6. Make sure UserID@internet domain
name is selected. If it is not selected, please select UserID@internet domain
name
