Situation
Where are the install error logs located?
Resolution
If there is an install failure, e-Security provides some tools
to troubleshoot.
If the installation failed:
o e-SecurityLog.txt
- Created at installation time if there are errors.
- If the installation was successful, this file will not be
created.
o Database install log files
- Created at installation time.
- Found under $ESEC_HOME/logs/dbsetup
Uninstalling:
o Uninstaller
- Found under $ESEC_HOME/_uninst/uninstall.bin (or .exe on
windows).
- Will prompt to remove different parts of the software.
