Situation
Trying to add CIFS Shares.
In iManager under "File Protocols", "CIFS / AFP" select a server.
After clicking on the "New" button under the "Cifs Shares" heading the following error is displayed:
Error: The CIFS configuration information is not stored in eDirectory
This error keeps you from being able to add shares.

Resolution
- Create a file called cifs.cfg in the sys:\etc directory.
The file will need to have a space in it in order to be
saved.
- At the server console do a "cifsstop" and then a "cifsstrt" to unload and reload cifs so that it can check for this file again.
- Go back to iManager and test
