Situation
Following
problems with AntiVirus report.
1. The
report name should be updated to: AntiVirus/AntiSpyware
Details
2. The
column currently called: Virus Definition/Engine Version should be
updated to: AntiVirus/AntiSpyware Definition/Engine
3. There
were some supported vendor products where we did not report the
AntiVirus/AntiSpyware informaiton, including - Command Software
Command AntiVirus for NT/2000 Wrkst 4.6 - Network Associates
WebShield SMTP 4.5 - Symantec Symantec AntiVirus Corporate Edit.
10.1 4. Some supported vendors combine antivirus and antispyware
defs/engines into one but our data shows these as just antivirus
info- the user has no way of knowing that this also represents the
antispyware information.
Resolution
Fixed in ZENWorks
7.5 Asset Management Interim Release 8 or newer
Interim Releases can be scheduled to run automatically or can be downloaded manually athttps://download.novell.com. The Interim releases can be set up within the ZAM Manager for the Task server to check the site on a scheduled basis, and download and apply them automatically. Please refer to the Help Section details of how to set up automatic downloads if desired.
Each interim release is cumulative. If Interim Release 8 is not available due to a newer interim release being placed on the website, be assured that the code needed is in the later release.
