Could not create the nss pools/volumes objects on eDirectory

Open Enterprise Server 1 - Linux version
Open Enterprise Server 2 - Linux version

Situation

LUM is working fine but both the nss admin user and the pool/volume cannot be created. This issue happens both in nssAdminInstall and NSSMU.

Resolution

Check if you have the right ip on /etc/hosts file. Most of console tools use this file to resolve the ip based on the server name.
