Groupwise Gateway for Microsoft Exchange crashes with a Runtime Error

Environment

Novell GroupWise Gateway - 7.x Gateway for MS Exchange

Situation

Gateway Crashes with a Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library pop up error.
Files are noted in the gateways Wpcsout/0 directory
Restarting the gateway several time will eventually move the file to the problem directory
Gateway log shows:
ERROR (E02) 000158: The gateway has failed repeatedly on an
outgoing message.

EXGWgate\gwprob\45ddc140.BAD

Resolution

This has been reported to development

Additional Information

Work around:
1) Remove files from the Wpcsout/?/0 directory and restart Gateway
or
2) Restarting the gateway several times as shown to move the file to the problem directory and allow the gateway to function after the file is moved.
