GroupWise 7 client will not start

Situation

GroupWise client would not start after modifying setting pertaining to the "Home" feature with in the GroupWise client
Grpwise.exe has generated errors. It will be closed by windows.
GroupWise 7 client will not start

Resolution

Reset Client Options on the users account.

Resetting Client Options to Default Settings

You can reset client options to the defaults for one or more users using Mailbox/Library Maintenance in ConsoleOne or GWCheck stand alone utility.

  1. In ConsoleOne, select one or more User objects (or GroupWise External Entity objects).
  2. Click Tools > GroupWise Utilities > Mailbox/Library Maintenance.
  3. In the GroupWise Objects list, select Users/Resources.
  4. In the Actions list, select Reset Client Options, then click Run.
  5. Resetting client option will effect setting made to the user database and there for these options should be check to insure they are set back to the desired settings. Check user option settings IE: auto archive, auto delete, etc.
