How to save Access Control Rules if reinstalling BorderManager or running BM3RMV3.EXE.

Novell BorderManager 3.5
Novell NetWare .411
Novell NetWare 5.x

Situation

Upgraded from an older version of NetWare and have had to re-install BorderManager. Corruption in the NDS schema that BorderManager extended, and had to run the utility BM3RMV3. Instead of re-creating access rules, they can be saved.
How to save Access Control Rules if reinstalling BorderManager or running BM3RMV3.EXE.

Resolution

Go into NWADMIN | Double-click on the BorderManager server object | Click on the BorderManager Access Control Rules button | at that point you can select all your rules and do either a cut or a copy with the buttons above the rules and then past them to a container above BorderManager. This will save those rules so that you can copy them back after you have either re-installed BM or run the BM3RMV3.
