Novell ZENworks 7.5 Asset Management - ZAM7.5
Situation
When running a custom report that returns with tens of
thousands of results it runs slowly.
Resolution
Novell is
constantly looking at ways to speed up large reports. There
is an enhancement in ZENworks 7.5 Asset Management IR 5 that skips
some reporting checks that are done in order to speed things
up.
If downloading the Interim Release manually from https://download.novell.com, select ZENworks Asset Management from the product drop down field, and then hit search and go to the Patches tab. The Interim releases can also be set up within the ZAM Manager for the Task server to check the site on a scheduled basis, and download and apply them automatically. Please refer to the Help Section for details of how to set up automatic downloads if desired.
Each interim release is cumulative. If Interim Release 5 is not available due to a newer interim release being placed on the website, be assured that the code needed is in the later release.
