Situation
Symptom:
Unable to graft GroupWise objects
ERROR: "An error occured while grafting Object into tree treeName.
com.novell.admin.common.exceptions.UniqueSPIException: (Error -601) The object name entered could not be found in the context specified. Refer to Help for all listings of possible causes and solutions"

Resolution
Corrective Steps:
For Windows
1. Close ConsoleOne
2. Right Click on the Red N
3. Click Novell Connections...
4. Highlight the Server that holds the Master Replica of the Partition into which we are trying to graft the GroupWise object
5. Click Set Primary
6. Launch ConsoleOne
7. Graft the GroupWise object
If the above does not work, follow the steps listed below after following the above steps 1-5
1. Map drive X to the SYS volume of the Server that holds the Master Replica of the Partition into which we are trying to graft the GroupWise object
2. Create a C1 folder in the SYS volume
3. Copy ConsoleOne with GroupWise snapins on the SYS:\C1\ volume
4. Click Start | Run and type"X:\c1\ConsoleOne\1.2\bin\ConsoleOne.exe /FORCEMASTER"
5. Graft the GroupWise object
For Linux
1. Launch ConsoleOne
2. During the Login Prompt, give the IP Address of the Server that holds the Master Replica of the Partition into which we are trying to graft the GroupWise object in the Tree field
3. Graft the GroupWise object
If the above still does not work, follow the steps listed below
1. Connect the Workstation running ConsoleOne directly to the switch where the Master Replica Server is connected
2. Map drive X to the SYS volume of the Server
3. Create a C1 folder in the SYS volume
4. Copy ConsoleOne with GroupWise snapins on the SYS:\C1\ volume
5. Click Start | Run and type"X:\c1\ConsoleOne\1.2\bin\ConsoleOne.exe /FORCEMASTER"
6. Graft the GroupWise object
For Windows

Additional Information
Error 601 means "No Such Entry". While grafting the GroupWise
object, ConsoleOne is not able to find the object where it needs to
graft and returns Error 601.
