Situation

Sentinel Database Manager will not start after logging in.
When logging into Sentine Database Manager getting Error: oracle.jdbc.driver.OracleDriver in the sdm0.0.log
"Error: oracle.jdbc.driver.OracleDriver" appears after the initial run of Sentinel Data Manager (SDM).

Resolution

This happens if the jdbc drivers are not installed. Please download the the latest jdbc driver from Oracle by clicking on the link below.

Save the file ojdbc.jar in %ESEC_HOME%\lib for windows or $ESEC_HOME/lib for UNIX. Then re-initialize the SDM application again.
