Situation
Deleting Printer Object from eDirectory does not delete the Printer
Agent from NDPS Manager or User Installation web page

Printer appears in NDPS Manager or User Installation web page but does not appear in eDirectory
Printer Object cannot be found or modified in eDirectory
Renaming Printer Object in eDirectory does not rename the Printer Agent in NDPS Manager or User Installation web page

Printer Object cannot be found or modified in eDirectory
Resolution
See Notes section, below, before
deleting or renaming objects.
To Delete both the Printer Object and the Printer Agent at the same time use iManager -> iPrint -> Delete Print Object
To rename a printer use iManager (Object Browse mode) or ConsoleOne to rename the Printer Object in eDirectory and then NDPSM -> Printer Agent List -><f3> to rename the Agent.
If a Printer appears in NDPS Manager or on the User Installation Page (http://<host name="">/ipp) but not in eDirectory, or the object names don't match, then rename it (<f3>) or delete it (<del>) within NDPS Manager from the Printer Agent List.

Additional Information
It must be understood that the Printer Object seen in eDirectory is
separate from the Printer Agent seen in NDPS Manager and hence the
user view on the Installation web page.
If iManager is used for all administration tasks (except a rename) the two should stay linked. If ConsoleOne is used to update the Printer Object then the Printer Agent isn't touched. Hence a Printer Object can be deleted or renamed using ConsoleOne and nothing happens to the Printer Agent: It stays listed in NDPSM and on the Installation page.
