Can't load NetMail 3.52 when using eDirectory 8.8

Novell eDirectory 8.8

Situation

NetMail will not load after upgrading to eDirectory 8.8. eDirectory 8.8 does not allow log in password that is hard-coded on Internet Services account.

Resolution

DDB must be loaded first using the "-u" and "-p" switches.
LOAD DDB -u:\TREE_NAME\O\OU\CN -p:user_password
The user must have full rights to all objects serviced by the NetMail Messaging server.

For Linux installation, create file /etc/ddb.cfg. The contents of the ddb.cfg should be:
userName=\tree\o\ou\userid
password=password
