Situation

Error: PXE-T04 Illegal TFTP operation
Error: PXE-E36 Error received from TFTP server
PXE problems on a server using a Broadcom Gigabit network card

Resolution

Resolved with the latest Driver for the Broadcom Gigabit card. The dates for B57.LDI and B57.LAN need to be 2/14/2003 or newer.
ZDM 7 SP1:
The fix for the TFTP error is resolved with the latest Winsock patch found at Novell Support.

Additional Information

The PXE server is configured with a Broadcom Gigabit network card.
