Windows 2003 server with support pack 1

Situation

OneNet filter not processing requests to eDirectory, Error 504.3

ERROR: "XTIER-SERVER","error","0xC7BF0014","XSrvAuthenticateUser::failed to get an active host" from the IIS logs.

After installing the fix in ZDM 7 SP1 IR1 (or later, up to IR3a HP3), the error did not happen for a while. Started increasing the number of users on the system and the error returned.

Restarting IIS on the middle tier server alleviates the problem.
