Email rejected with 500 5.5.0 Syntax error - line too long

GWIA log screen:

ERROR: Detected error on SMTP command
Command: Data...
Response: 500 5.5.0 Syntax error - line too long

Mails gets rejected when sent to certain Internet email addresses.

This has been fixed.

For the most current fixes to this issue please Install GWIA dated later then 08/21/06. Support Pack and or FTF releases dated September 10th or later will include this fix.

Email sent to an INTERNET site that has "line length restrictions set" refuses to accept replies to an email sent from that site and results in the above error.

The same reply email sent to sites with no restrictions works fine.
