How to update the Trial / Evaluation Version of GroupWise to the Full Release Version

I have installed the GroupWise 7.x Evaluation copy and am now ready to update to the full release version.

Do I have to recreate my GroupWise system ?

Attempting to add users to a Post Office returns the following error.

Error: The attempted operation exceeds the limitations of this evaluation version.

Steps to update an Eval GW System to a Full Release GW System.

1 - Install the Full release GroupWise Administration Files (snap-ins)

2 - Copy the Full release DC files in place.

a) From the GW7x Full release CD (or directory) copy the 4 dc files from the CD\DOMAIN directory to your Server\Domain directory. (gwdom.dc, gwpo.dc, wpdomain.dc, wphost.dc)
b) Copy the 3 dc files from the CD\PO directory to your Server\Po directory. (gwpo.dc, wphost.dc, ngwguard.dc)
c) Copy the ngwguard.dc from the CD\PO directory to your Server\Domain\WPOFFICE directory.

d) Copy the 4 dc files from the CD\DOMAIN directory to your Software Distribution Directory (SDD)\domain directory.

e) Copy the 3 dc files from the CD\PO directory to your SDD\Po directory

3 - From ConsoleOne run a Recover on the Domain and Post Offices.

(Right Click the Domain / Po object | Choose GroupWise Utilities | System Maintenance | Recover )

This will allow additional users to be added to GroupWise and clean up the Evaluation Records in the databases.
