Situation
Dynamic group queries return less results than expected. For
example, out of 500 expected results only half of them are
returned.
Performing the same query through LDAP returns the correct amount of results.
Dynamic Groups are configured to do a sub-tree search on a branch with many levels of containers below. This problem only happens when the deepest levels of the tree form a DN that is too long for the Dynamic Group to search on.

Resolution
This issue has been reported to engineering.
Workaround: eDirectory 8.8 is not affected by this problem, therefore upgrading to eDirectory 8.8 can be suggested as a workaround
