GroupWise users do not synchronize to Outlook global address book

Situation

GroupWise user do not synchronize and populate the Outlook 2003 global address book

Resolution

Reissue Synchronization
1. Go to GroupWise domain/wpgate/exchange directory
2. find two directories wpgate/exchange/DX and wpgate/exchange/DS
3. rename the files in both of the above directories by adding old to the name of the file.
Example wpgate/exchange/DS/oldgwds and wpgate/exchange/DX/oldgwdx
4. Restart the gateway
5. from the gateway interface choose actions | Synchronize Directories
