Situation
Using
ConsoleOne, right click and select properties of monitored server
in Atlas. ConsoleOne hangs bringing
up properties.
Action ->
ping or Action -> Connectivity Test or Action -> Probe
Manageability hangs.
Running
ConsoleOne with -debug -windowout shows the following:
VisiBrokerCORBADomain:
Setting ORBagentAddr (LocalHost) =
set to
incorrect address. Although the request is sent to server,
the response is not received by local corba agent.
Resolution
In one case,
VisiBroker Corba was binding LocalHost to the Automatic Private IP
Address set on vpn virtual lan. Disabling the APIA resolved

Additional Information
Setting
environment variable for OSAGENT_LOCAL_FILE to point to correct
localhost did not resolve the problem.
