Situation
When importing purchase records, if allocating by department, site, or cost center the allocation quantity is based on purchase quantity only. License per package was not considered.
Resolution
Fixed in ZENWorks 7.5 Asset Management Interim Release 8 or newer
Interim Releases can be scheduled to run automatically or can be downloaded manually at https://download.novell.com/patch/finder. The Interim releases can be set up within the ZAM Manager for the Task server to check the site on a scheduled basis, and download and apply them automatically. Please refer to the Help Section details of how to set up automatic downloads if desired.
Each interim release is cumulative. If Interim Release 8 is not available due to a newer interim release being placed on the website, be assured that the code needed is in the later release.

This issue is also seen in Zenwork's Asset Mangement 7.5 Interim Release 5. It may be present in Interim Releases 5 and 6, but has not been reported to Novell.
The fix made in Interim Release 8 causes the allocation quantity to be based on license per package times purchase quantity.
