Novell Identity Manager Identity Manager 3.0
Situation
When configuring the Identity Manager (IDM) 3 User Application it
is not possible to browse for contexts except for Organizations and
Organizational Units. Administrative Domains (DC) do not show
up by default. As a valid container for the User Application
this causes some problems, especially in trees built around
DCs.
Resolution
The option for DCs will be available by default in IDM 3.5's User
Application setup.
For IDM 3.0.x's User Application looking under the Advanced Options a domain can be added in the LDAP Properties section. Once there everything works properly. A screenshot below shows the configuration with the domain class added.
