Novell Access Management 3 SSLVPN Server
Situation
Access Manager 3 Support Pack 2 applied to an SSLVPN server to get
the new proxy support. The proxy.conf file was created and placed
in the users home directory, as defined by the documentation. As
the users tried to connect in Enterprise mode, no green connection
light would ever appear. Looking at the openvpn.log file on the
client, the following error was reported:
> Options error: Bad http-proxy port number: <8080>
> Use --help for more information.

Resolution
Corrected the syntax of the proxy.conf file. The erroneous setup
had the following entry:
proxyHost=<172.19.236.250>:<8080>
Once changed to
proxyHost=172.19.236.250:8080
all started working fine.
