Situation
Modifying the various time-based attributes on objects in
eDirectory via iManager does not allow those values to be later
than early in the year 2038. These include Login Expiration
Time and Password Expiration Time among others.
Resolution
This is a limitation in iManager caused by the interpretation of
the time attributes as being signed integers when they are actually
unsigned integers. eDirectory already supports these larger
values up to the year 2108. The issue will be resolved in a
Service Pack (SP) of iManager and in future major releases of
iManager. In the meantime LDAP can be used to modify values
so they are set to the years beyond 2038.
