Novell ZENworks 7.5 Asset Management - ZAM7.5
Situation
The problem
happens when you do the following.
WebConsole
-> Asset Management -> Software Usage -> Reports ->
Total App Usage -> By Workstation.
1) Drill
into a Workstation link.
2) Sort the
column "Local Last Used Date" ( Or another column on the report
).
3) Click on"Change Time Period/Filters". Change the Time Period.
4) Click
Apply.
This results
in the error: The data you requested is not available.
Details:
[Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][SQL Server]Incorrect syntax
near'by'.
Resolution
Fixed in ZENWorks
Asset Management Interim Release 2 or newer
Interim Releases can be scheduled to run automatically or can be downloaded manually athttps://download.novell.com. The Interim releases can be set up within the ZAM Manager for the Task server to check the site on a scheduled basis, and download and apply them automatically. Please refer to the Help Section details of how to set up automatic downloads if desired.
Each interim release is cumulative. If Interim Release 2 is not available due to a newer interim release being placed on the website, be assured that the code needed is in the later release.
