Situation
Microsoft
Office 2007 cannot be installed using an '.msi' file.
After
installing Microsoft Office 2007 clicking 'Verify' on the icon
causes the screen for 'Repair, Remove, Modify' since an
installation is already detected.
Resolution
Refer to
Microsoft's documentation for Office 2007:
Microsoft Office
2007 cannot be installed using a single .msi file. The only
install option is to use the Setup.exe.

is impossible to install 2007 Office release without runningsetup.exe. More than just the .msi file is required to
complete an installation.
Setup sequence of events in the 2007 Office system
Unlike previous
versions, the 2007 Microsoft Office system is not installed as a
single Windows Installer package (MSI file).Instead, a
language-neutral core package is combined with one or more
language-specific packages to make a complete product. Setup
assembles the individual packages and orchestrates a seamless
installation. Setup also handles customization and maintenance
tasks during and after Office is installed on users'
computers.....
Additional Information
ZENworks
must work within the bounds of the application being distributed
through NAL.
Because of
the limitations imposed by the Office 2007 application, ZENworks
cannot circumvent the requirement to run the setup.exe, and
therefore any 'verify' or 'uninstall' operations will need to be
performed via the method determined by the application. (i.e. via
the Repair, Remove, Modify interface).
Additionally, both
ZENworks and Microsoft Office are functioning as designed in this
scenario.
