Novell GroupWise 6.5 Client for Macintosh
Situation
Error launching GroupWise 6.5.6 client for Macintosh.
The error is in a dialog box as follows:
Cannot launch Java application
Uncaught exception in main method:
java.lang.UnsatisfiedLinkError: /Applications/
GroupWise.app/Contents/Resources/Java/
libgwapijni.jnilib:
The GW Mac client does not load.

Resolution
This problem occurs when attempting to run the GroupWise 6.5.X
client (which will run ONLY on a PowerPC-based Mac) on a Macintosh
that uses an Intel processor.
Customers needing to run the GroupWise client for Macintosh on an Intel-based Mac will need to upgrade to GroupWise 7.X, which includes separate versions of the GroupWise client for PowerPC Macs and also for the newer Intel-based Macs.
