Environment
Novell exteNd Composer 5.2.1
Novell exteNd Application Server 5.2.1
Novell exteNd JBoss Application Server
Novell exteNd Application Server 5.2.1
Novell exteNd JBoss Application Server
Situation
Application Server responding with
Invalid License upon startup
Resolution
In past releases of the exteNd Composer, an updatelicense utility
was made available to users who sometimes
needed to update their Composer license strings. The utility would be a .sh for linux or a .bat file for Windows users.
Although the utility is still shipped with Linux, this utility is no longer supported for the exteNd 5.2.1 version of Composer.
The license updates should only be done through the Composer Console and the Help About in Designer.
The Composer Console is broken for the Enterprise server and this fix will rolled into the next patch for 5.2.1.
Please consult exteNd support for additional details, or go to the Novell Support download site for patches to see if this has been addressed yet.
