Situation

Failure to mount home directories on Netware from a MAC OS 10.4 workstation (integrating MAC OS X and eDirectory)

Resolution

Due to changes in schema on MAC OS 10.4 Novell does not support eDirectory integration via LDAP (mounting home directories) with MAC OS 10.4.

MAC OS 10.2 and 10.3 should still work.


There is a 3rd party (non-Novell) solution called "Kanaka" that enables users to mount their MAC home directory on a Netware server.
