Additional Information

This solution requires an updated version of PROXY.NLM on the BorderManager server that will honor the PUBLIC;MUST REVALIDATE Cache Control header when a basic authentication header is present. Otherwise, BorderManager will not cache the patch files but just fill them from the origin server. The fix is included in BM38SP4 or later available atNovell Product Updates.
Since Patch Management can have extreme disk space requirements, be aware ofConfiguring Cache Parametersfor Border Manager.
