Unknown, undocumented SNMP, SNMP2 Exceptions in SLOADER logs and LOGGER.TXT

Situation

Unknown, undocumented SNMP and SNMP2 Exceptions in SLOADER debug logs and LOGGER.TXT log.

Resolution

The exceptions are informational and do not affect the funtionalities of MMS. The exceptions are generated by invalid or unreachable IP addresses in the SYS:ETC\TRAPTARG.CFG or in the MMS environment (ConsoleOne, Atlas) and configuration. The address most commonly seen in the SLOADER logs is 0.0.0.0 but would otherwise be addresses of the local environment. Check the environment for addresses that are unreachable and determine why they are apparently unreachable and resolve the problem and/or remove invalid IP addresses from the TRAPTARG.CFG from all SNMP Agent servers.

The ZSM 7 output to the LOGGER.TXT has been turned off in ZW 7 SP1. The SLOADER logs are the source of debugoutput for Management and Monitoring Services (MMS).
