Situation

Perl Script fails with NDS Authentication Active

Resolution

Changed the NDS rights to the PERLROOT sub-directory, granting public access. Refer to Novell Documentation regarding how to configure File System Trustees, Trustee Rights, Inherited Rights Filters, and Attributes for Directories and Files.

Additional Information

NDS Authentication was configured on the Enterprise Server, granting public access to the DOCS sub-directory, but did not grant public access to the PERLROOT sub-directory.
