Possible file corruption with OpenOffice on SLED 10

With a SLED 10 workstation using Samba to access an OpenOffice document stored on a NetWare 6.5 server, Read/Write access is granted to the SLED workstation even though the file is open by another workstation (this other workstation can either be Windows or SLED).  This could possibly corrupt the file if both users make changes.
