Login errors with OES with OpenSLP using SLPv2

Novell Client for Windows 2000/XP/2003 4.91
Novell Open Enterprise Server (Linux based)
OpenSLP using SLPv2

Situation

The following errors may be returned when logging in:

LOGIN-LGNWNT32.DLL-890: The specified server is unknown.
LOGIN-LGNWNT32.DLL-430: The following drive mapping operation could not be completed. [...]
The error code was 8884

Resolution

Edit the Windows Registry with the following setting:

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\SRVLOC\Parameters]
"Use SingleEquals in Where (V2)"=dword:00000001

Additional Information

The Novell Client 4.91 at default settings does not support an OpenSLP directory agent on OES Linux over SLPv2.
