Novell Modular Authentication Service (NMAS) version 3.1.0
Netware 6.5sp5 servers configured for CIFS shares
Edir 8.7.3 IR9 ftf2 installed on SLES10 x64

Resolution

This issue has been resolved with an updated NMAS auth method. Engineering now working on a public release.

A work around for this issue, is to add a Netware server as a R/W the Linux only replica ring.
