Situation
TID 3564341 'How to enable ZAM Logging and Diagnostic Mode' states:
'A Usage log can be created by creating the file C:\tsusagecfg.ini. In the file on the first line write [TSUsage] and underneath that on the second line write Debug=Yes. Save the file and restart the Collection Client. You will get a Usage Diagnostic Window with the usage logging.'
This works with ZAM 7.0 clients.
It does NOT work with ZAM 7.5 clients.

Resolution
ZAM 7.5: In the registry, \HKLM\Software\Talley Systems Corp.\TSCensus\CollectionClient\ key,create a new DWORD value named"UMDiagnostic" and with a value of 1. Restart the Usage Monitor (it may takekilling it with Task Manager TSUsage32.exe ,then manually restarting it--C:\Program Files\Novell\ZENworks\Asset Management\Bin) and the diagnosticwindow will start.
ZCM 10.x: ZCM 10.x: In the registry, HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Novell\Zenworks\Usage\ key, create a new DWORD value named"UMDiagnostic" and with a value of 1. Restart the Novell ZENworks Agent Service (\%ZENWORKS_HOME%\Bin\ZENworksWindowsService.exe), or start TSUsage32.exe if it is not already running, and the diagnosticwindow will start.
