Environment

Novell ZENworks 7 Desktop Management Support Pack 1 - ZDM7 SP1 Desktop Management
Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Standard Edition

Situation

ZDM 7 SP1 Hot Patch 6 fails to install to some of the customers Windows 2003 servers running ZDM 7 SP1.

Resolution

Deployed the Hot Patch using the CPK version.
Since the customer did not own ZSM, the stand-alone package processor was used.

The customer also discovered that removing NMAS from the server enabled the executable form of the Hot Patch to install as well.
