Situation

Symptoms:
HTML mail with logo doubles the size of outbound mails when sent to internet users
HTML Signature with logo doubles the size of outbound mails when sent to external users
HTML Signature with logo doubles the size of outbound mails when sent to internet users
ERROR: "The size of this item and its attachment is X MB. This exceeds the adminstrator specifed limit of Y MB. This message cannot be sent. Please remove some attachments and try again."
The problem is not faced when sending mail to an internal user

Additional Information

Steps to Duplicate:
1. Create a user with "Maximum send message size" of 10000 KB
2. Login as that user using GroupWise Client
3. Create a mail with 6 MB Attachment
4. Insert a Picture of size 10 KB or less
5. Send the mail to an external/internet user
6. It gives an error message - "The size of this item and its attachment is 15.7 MB. This exceeds the adminstrator specifed limit of 9.77 MB. This message cannot be sent. Please remove some attachments and try again."
