Situation
When creating iPrint printers, the error 70005 was presented.
Following the steps in tid 3508363 did not solve the problem.
Resolution
In checking in Novell Remote Manager under SLP -> Service
Agent Services the URL for service:portal:novell was different on
the problem server than on all of the other servers. It was
missing the domain suffix. In looking at the SLPScope object
in ConsoleOne, the problem server had registered
service:portal:novell differently. To solve this issue, the
following steps were performed:
- Corrected the hosts file
- Reloaded using WS2_32 RELOAD HOSTS
- Restarted Remote Manager (Using the restart feature in NRM)
- Did SLP RESET using Monitor -> Server Parameters -> Service Location Protocol -> SLP Reset
- Deleted the service:portal:novell objects that were wrong in the SLP Scope with ConsoleOne
