Situation

When using a new DELL Optiplex 170L machines with an out of the box, installing any ZENworks agents or Novell Client softwares users are unable to get any login prompt on startup except Microsoft login.
The registry key has been manually changed from MSGina.dll to NWGina.dll - on reboot the entire registry key is missing.

Resolution

Contacted DELL - a bad image was installed to a batch of those machines. The fix is to reformat the hard drive and reinstall the OS and the proper GINA will be available when client/agent are installed.
