Long Challenge Response questions, how long is too long?

In a few instances, Multilingual companies have created a single Challenge question that has multiple languages translated for the same question. By translating the question and adding it to the end of the English question, it is very easy to go past the 128 character limit for Challenge questions.

NMAS currently has a 128 character limit on Challenge Questions, although the iManager Plug-ins do not  keep you from creating a question longer than this limit.
