Situation

The Linux box is discovered by the management server, but the information does not scan in. Message on the management console "1 workstations will be scanned when reconnected" and then it never scans.

Resolution
Check to see if WinSCP FTP is being used to upload the
mcsysinfo-5.1.3-linux-x86.sh file. By default, WinSCP uses
the "automatic" settings to transfer the files via text mode rather
than binary. Manually select the binary method re-upload the
file.
