Resend is not working when addressing rules are over ridden

Sending a mail message to GWIA:username@domainname to over ride addressing rules will fail if you try and do a resend on that message.  Once the original message has been sent, go into the Sent Items folder and right click on that message.  Select Resend from the list.  The address will show on the To: line as GWIA:username@domainname and return the "some address are undeliverable" error message unless the piece of the address is deleted.
