Situation
Error: Missing BLOB file on add/modify [C081] errors in Post Office logs

Resolution
The bug was fixed in GroupWise 7.0.1 builds date 2006.04.27 or later.
Make sure you have a GroupWise 7 GWCheck from that build or later.

Additional Information
GWCheck in the shipping GroupWise 7 incorrectly deletes files in the offiles directories while processing the storelowercase option. Do not use the storelowercase option with the shipping GroupWise 7 GWCheck.
If files have been deleted through the use of this GWCheck option you will need to restore the missing files. If this was used as part of a migration to Linux then repeat the appropriate steps in TID 3407855 to use dbcopy to re-copy the files from the original Post Office.
